Weird Looking Poop

Okay, I have 2 corns in the same tank, for breeding...Last night I noticed what I am going to assume in poop...except it looked REALLY funny...

It was like a light brown, mixed with a touch of off white stuff, but the weirdest part was that it had a clear, slimy looking discharge on top of it (like a puddle)....

Has anyone else ever encountered anything like that??? Is that an indicator for a health problem???

I can't even say which of my darlings did it, as I had just left the room a few minutes before...It was either a female Amel that has just layed eggs about a week and a half ago, or it was a male Normal that we just recently aquired...

If anyone has ANY ideas what the problem is, I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!

Did you put the male in quarantine for any lengh of time? A month is the minimum with most people quarantining for 8weeks. I myself do it for 6 weeks and have 3 differant poop sample analized.

As to the additional substance, i'm not sure what it is, but the poop sounds ok (the brown and the white bit's that is).
