Well, I hope this isn't the start of a picky snake...

My female hasn't eaten for a couple months now but I hadn't been too concerned because she has been pretty active, drinking water, not losing weight, etc. I figured she had it in her head that it was breeding season.

I've still tried feeding her weekly and she's ignored the mouse every week. This week I got frustrated, took the mouse out and threw in a male ASF. She snapped, grabbed, and coiled instantly.

So yay! She ate.

and boo! She's going to have to wait a bit if she wants ASF's for every meal. The rest of the colony hasn't shown signs of fertility yet.

Well, that meal should at least buy you some time! What size/age is this snake? If it's a big adult, I wouldn't sweat much. Hopefully you can get her on domestic f/t mice with regularity, perhaps try freezing an ASF and try scenting with that. Good luck and keep us posted.
