I'm going to be honest...

The more morphs I started to see with corn snakes, the more I became over whelmed with them all. I never thought there would be so many different colors and patterns for one snake!!!

And I will admit, I didn't care too much for the normal corn or Okeetee corn. I know that's terrible of me to say, but normally I love the lighter colored and more albino looking snakes.

On that note, I don't know what it has been lately but I'm really starting to love the Normals and especially the Okeetee corns! Especially like the one listed in the link below:

I love the red saddles, defined black borders, the white neck, and the light orange background. Now I understand most snakes always change their colors when they get older. But eventually I want an Okeetee corn like this one. I just need to pick up a rack first. How will I be assured that the snake will stay with those same colors? I'm assuming that I have to check out the parents and their coloration?

Oh I know just what you mean. I've been trying to learn morphs too and it can be completely overwhelming. My favorite will always be my snow. I didn't really care for the normal or Okeetee at first. The normal has grown on me a lot. Still not a big fan of Okeetee. I have been researching different morphs and was wondering the same thing you asked. I want to get a breeder pair...although after rescuing my ball python I'm going to have to wait a bit for my pair of corns. I'm going to keep an eye on this thread. Great question thanks for asking it :)

I didn't care for the red-eyed snakes. My daughter wanted a snow or amel at PetCo, but I wanted the ghost. I did like the normals, but liked the lack of color on the ghost. Then I liked the yellowish snakes, so I am getting an Amber, because I like dark eyes (so no butter). Then fell in love with the gorgeous colors of the extreme okeetee, so ordered one of those. After all that, I fell in love with a reverse okeetee with red eyes, because I know my daughter wants one like that. All of these are coming from South Mountain Reptiles, btw. Saves on shipping! :) And the snakes look fantastic.

I'm telling you it's so crazy how much some of them change in colors!!! Some people post pics of their baby snakes in progression threads and then later on post again, I swear it doesn't not look like the same snake!! It's cool how they change though.

Very nice!!! The yellowish snakes I'm partial to are Butters! Ambers are very nice as well. I love albinos and white or light colored leucistic snakes! Those make me drool all the time!

I am still partial to darker-eyed snakes, but I am excited to see how this RO will turn out!

The reverse okeetee (so an amel) is what I'm talking about. I didn't think I'd end up with an amel!

To clarify: I knew I couldn't get both from 2 different breeders due to the double shipping costs.

I don't remember who the breeder is on this one, but this is a male Okeetee that is visiting me for a while. He's reportedly het for Sunkissed & I'm going to prove that out for my friend who owns him.
He's just over 600 grams

Edit to add: my point is to show that adults do have the bright colors.
