well this weekend was rather wonderful. My boyfriend and I actually drove down to Derby, Kansas for cornsnakes!!!! The reason we went was beacuse we've been wanting a ghost corn, since we started our addiction...so we went to this pet store here in OK and they wanted $80 for her. Then we met an avid Boa collector and he recommended Tails & Scales in Kansas. So we went. When we got there we were planning on buying one baby, we left with 5!!! Tell me if you think these were fair prices for our babies.
1 unknown sunglow het for bloodred $26 (we forgot to have her sexed)
1 female charcoal het for blizzard $25
1 female candycane $25
1 male ghost $25
1 2yr. old male okeetee $45 (Very Tame and beautiful)

Then we came back up here, to have our sunglow sexed, and met the guy again who was an avid boa collector, and he sold us his baby ball python with all housing supplies for $70. (he wanted money for his new 3 yr. old boa.
Were these fair prices? I sure hope so, I love my babies....

I highly recommend Tails & Scales in Derby Kansas....even if your not living in Kansas...it is definatly worth the trip...they are the friendliest people, and they have such a HUGE selection. In fact we're plannin on ging back in a few weeks for some more. I can't get enough.....

I forgot to add that John, the owner of Tails & Scales breeds all of his own reptiles. To ensure he knows the history and can sell them at a lower cost
 
They sound like some great prices and a nice variety of snakes!

Make sure you house them by temselves at least for the fist part of the time you have them to prevent any stress realted upsets or possible canibalism.

Later on (by 14 months or so) keeping them appart will be important as the males will reach sexual maturity before the females and will start harrassing them.


BTW,

You might want to shorten your segnature area, we're meant to keep them to less than 4 lines long and you have a few more than that :cheers:

I'm sorry about having to long of signature. I didn't know it could only be 4 lines long. I made sure I fixed it. Thanks for letting me know. I'm glad to hear that I got a good deal. I do have them seperated, I don't want them to get any sickness or heaven forbid, for them to eat each other....
