What a night

So yesterday I was cleaning the snake tank and getting fresh water. I went into the room and removed the clips and weights from the lid. Then the phone rang(I bet about 90% of you know where this story is going) It was some friends, so I cleaned up and left for a few hours.Well then I came home around 10pm and headed up stairs because I had school bright and early. Well the second I turned on the light upstairs I saw the weights and clips on the ground and immediatly spilled out some profanity. Then looked into a EMPTY snake tank<<insert much more profanity

Now I have visions of my snake crawling into bed with my mom and then me and the snake will be looking for a home. But the major problem is I have closets built into my wall, like attic type storage spaces so she can crawl into one closet and have all the wall space wrapping around my room:awcrap:
After a suprisingly brief 20 minutes of searching and cussing and kicking the cat out of the room I walked back into the room with a flash light when out of the corner of my eye I saw this little head sticking out from the closet lol. After some serious coaxing and unraveling from the floor boards of the crawl space I managed to get her home. Figures 24 hrs before switching her to a newer, bigger, tank which shouldnt be as easy to get out of!

You're lucky to find her so fast.
I had to wait 10 days 'til she decided she wanted to come back home.

She was coiled underneath some floorboards in my crawl space in the closet. And for one reason or another she had lifted her head out and happened to make eye contact with me as I entered the room! I was pretty lucky lol

That's awesome that you found your snake that was pure luck, I wish I was that lucky. I'm missing an Iguana that escaped from his outside cage a week ago.
