my bestest addiction!
Hi, been awhile for me (posting wise). but I just got this snake from my daughters friend, who seems to not have been taking care of it properly and will be giving it to my co-worker (he has 1 already and is wanting another).

is this a Butter? the pictures aren't the greatest but they show his color pretty close to in person.

I will be keeping it for a couple weeks to make sure it is good to go to my friend.

they had no heat source, I dont know what the substrate was, looked like coconut fuzz (the brown stuff on the outside of it) mixed with dirt, and it looks like they were feeding it live mice, the snake appears to have minor wounds (not very recent though) and some scales missing. he looks like he was under-fed, at least compared to my snakes...he looks like he has flabby skin (which the pictures don't show).

poor thing.

Based on the ground color, I'm going to call that a snow rather than a butter. Some snows do get bright yellow saddles like that.

Twas My first guess as well....But i can see where it could be Butter as well...LOL...thats my diplomatic answer. allow me to also state..i'm a first yr breeder...and i'm still trying to wrap my mind around all the variations in any particular morph.

Ok...Fry me if you must...but the more i look at these pics..and look at my butter....i'm somewhat leaning to butter...i could be wrong..very wrong in fact.

I wish people wouldn't get their kids pets and not properly instruct them on their maintenance. All it does is teach them that pets are disposable. Thank you for caring for this little guy and finding him a good home.

I 100% agree, and thank you.

I would keep him, but I don't want to spread myself to thin with the ones I have right now.
