I used to post on BleedZao (a band forum) and they had a thread, titled as such, where you just post whatever song you might be listening to at the moment! (of course, for us snake fanatics, we might be listening to "crazy snake burrowing violently" or perhaps a "rattle against a plastic sterilite")

Anywho, it was interesting to see everyone's musical tastes, as it was a great excuse to be introduced to new bands! I'm interested to see what kind of music everyone enjoys.

I'm listening to Chimaira - Painting the White to Grey

Just so I could play, I put the iphone on random, picked a song then hit forward instantly so it wouldn't be what I 'picked'.
Got Motorhead's "Ace of Spades." Boy, couldn't have done one better if I cheated!

*happy sigh* I am listening to serenity...

The waterfall from the filter in my 10g...muted street noise...and my own breath...I'm having a great day. :D

I've also got some really random favorites. A few I've been listening to lately would be the Dresden Dolls, Devil Doll, Humanwine, The Lonely Island, K'Naan, Pink, John Mayer, Miles Davis, Etta James, Johnny Cash, and a few others. I'm very random. ;)

Much agreed about The Dresden Dolls.

:D:D:D:D

This is why I love this game.

"Defect From Decay" by Beloved.

I'm currently listening to Chris Gorman, a local musician. Absolutely lovely guy, my boyfriend has worked with him a few times. Shootback (film production company he works for) just recently finished his first music video for the song Porcelain.

My favorite songs of his are Plastic people and You make me see stars.

my playlists are set up at random on my itunes by me. just throwing music in and shuffling them up. i have really weird tastes in music, well thats what most people say. i think their tastes are to ordinary and that theyre weird.

edit: put in some videos from the tube so you can hear something new and maybe find a new band to like.

I've been waking up to Scissor Sisters, and aside from that it's a lot of CCR, Beatles, Big Sugar, and Maroon 5. My tastes range from bluegrass to disco to funk to metal to middle eastern.

Right now, though, Weird Al's Bohemian Polka is on my headphones.

For my study playlist, I have cycling (and yes, I have a large range in musical genres)--

1. Enrique Iglesias - Tired of Being Sorry
2. Pantera - Cemetery Gates
3. Bullet for My Valentine - Betrayal (AWESOME!!!)
4. Avenged Sevenfold - Sidewinder
5. Seasons After - Cry Little Sister (cover)
6. Clay Walker - This Man and This Woman
7. Michael Buble - Haven't Met You Yet
8. The Script - Breakeven
9. Garth Brooks - Papa Loved Mama

Cemetary gates is my all time fav Pantera song. I saw them in concert back in the mid 90's. My music ranges too...I have everything from Adam Lambert to All that Remains on my phone.
