We bought this female corn as a normal but as she gets older she gets more and more yellow to her. She doesn't look like a normal corn to me. What do you think?

It looks like a very yellow normal to me.

It has been said that some people can tell if a normal snake is carrying the recessive Caramel gene by how yellow it is. Do you know if it is 'het' for anything?

It is very pretty!

Clint,
It is possible that it is het for something.
I got her from a local pet store that had bought her and others from Geoff Stricker. I know he has caramels, so I guess it is possible. We won't know until we breed her which will be next year, she is growing like a weed!

I haven't decided yet, what do you think?
A caramel maybe? The only males I have now are a striped motley het for amel, a normal (very bright okeetee type), and a ghost motley.

It depends on what you'd like to accomplish. Either of the Motley males will help prove if it's het Motley for amel or anery or hypo. You just might get some great looking normals from the Okeetee type.

I'd do a Caramel cross, I really like Caramels.
