Generally speaking, there are few, if any, amel mots that wouldn't fall into the "sunglow" classification.

I'm going with "sunglow mot" on that one.....as long as there are no belly checkers.

jazz

It's a pretty amel and appears to be motley, but a belly shot would be helpful. And as Dale said, most amel motleys seem to be sunglows. My amel motley is an exception though.

I have a nice amel motley girl who has a few white specks here and there but she could fall into the sunglow category. It looks like a nice amel/sunglow mot to me, but belly shots are loved by all ;)

sunglows are amels anyways, so its all the same difference to me.

I don't really see the need for a belly shot (other than just for fun and because some member's like to see some more skin ;) ). There's nothing about that snake that makes me suspect it's not a motley.

Like other's have said, the sunglow thing is a toss-up. Personally, I prefer to reserve the name sunglow for selectively bred amels with reduced/no white. If it's not selectively bred, to me, it's an amel with a sunglow look.

When does the selectively bred amel become a sunglow then, if the starting animals had no white and shiny bright colors to start with? I've never heared before someone used the line bred factor in the sunglow definition :shrugs:
