From what I can see, it looks like you have a pretty little Amel, also called Amelanistic or red Albino :)

Hope that helps,

Yes, that's Amel (red albino). And some of the saddles have "melted" to eachother. That's not very rare. If there were more patterning like this, it would be partial zig-zag or aztec. This I think is just "mis-marked" or one little personal feature. Nice looking fella anyway! Congrats! :)

so would it have a part of a zig zag gene or would it just be a fluke

Zigzag is just something that's bred for, isn't it? Like breeding for reverse oketees. It's not actually a gene.

there was a perfactly patterned one in there with it was snow but perfactly patterned but its the imperfections that i liked in this snake.... i doo plan to breed someday and i know imperfections arnt what is looked for in offspring so if i breed this one is it more likly to produce more imperfections or no?

I do not believe it to be more likely, and a lot of people actually really like the aberrant patterns. I know I certainly do.

And of course you could try to find him/her an zig-zag/aztec mate to breed with. Of course the clutch would most likely to be just partially zig-zags and other more or less aberrant patterns, but at least you'd get a variety of personal patterned bebies. Not two just alike. :)

As there was snow in the same clutch your amel may be het. for Anery and that way with right mate it may produce Amel, Anery and Snow babies. Even if it wasn't het for Anery and you'd only get amel babies I guess the aberrant patterned amels would be more desired than just plain and regular ones.

But that's just my thought anyway. :D

well from what i can tell there may have been snakes from 2 separate clutches a normal, one whose color variation im not sure of (looked to be offspring of at least one normal parent though), 1 very very pale snow" my have even been ghost", 1 snow, and 2 amel, i got the darker of the 2 amels. the amels and snows were all about the same size and the normals were about an inch and half smaller.. but from what i hear thats nothing to tell age by ...anyways thats a mouthful what do you guys think... i didnt know the breeder the pet shop said he dropped the ones he didnt sell at the reptile conventions we have out here in august. so im guessing from 2 separate clutches? so sound like i may have a het anery ?
