What do you guys do when the days get shorter?

I was kind of curious, with Corn snakes being nocturnal and with the days getting shorter, should there be any type of supplemental lighting to make up for the shorter days? This will be my first winter with snakes and I just want to make sure I'm doing this right. Thanks for the help!!

Ok, that's what I was thinking. The only reason I kind of wondered was that I thought I read somewhere that they needed 8-12 hours of daylight just for their day/ night cycles. But, schebbles, Nanci has helped me out on a few other things before and has never steered me wrong, so I'm going with her. Haha!!

Yeah they don't need it my corn snake only has the light coming in my room and has under tank heating no other lights are a need. :)
