Just "inherited" this little corn snake - apparently a pet store purchase that didn't work out for the original purchaser. Any ideas about the morph? Clearly amelanistic, but anything beyond that going on here? Thanks in advance for your help, and I'm really excited to be a new owner!

Thanks for the very speedy reply. Next newb question - what is RO? Only morph I could find with R or O was an Okeetee, and this little one doesn't look like one of those...

A corn snake:sidestep::roflmao::roflmao:

Just Kidding... I second Josh an amel which might end up being a RO.

Ah ha! Reverse Okeetee - found some pics! You might be right - how much do the colors or patterns change as they age?

RO meaning Reverse Okeetee. An Amel with thick white borders instead of a normal with thick black borders.

Also remember Okeetee has two meanings to some.... One is referencing the location, and One referencing the "look". Yours would be the Amel Version "look". Unless you can track where the snakes wild parents came from :)

It actually can change a lot or a little its just a thing that may happen. Often yellows and orange fill in within a year, sometimes a little longer.

No way at all to learn about the parents - very pretty little snake as far as I'm concerned, no matter the parentage. Thanks for your help!
