What is the process of freezing pinkies?

Yep, You can try to gas them but that doesnt seem to work very well. I put them in a ziplock and into the freezer they go. .... It to me is sometimes cruel but listen to one being swallowed alive is much worse to me.

I use a medicine dispenser, the ones that hold pills for each day so you don't have to open every bottle each time, this keeps them seperate so they can't huddle together for warmth thus making it take slightly longer for them to pass. Mind I can't be sure of how much quicker but it also keeps them from sticking together.

I use the styrofoam 18 count egg carton with similar results. Once in a great while one will stray over to the next hole.

I just put mine in a plastic ziplock container with the lid off and put them into my freezer. They are usually dead within 10 minutes. Sounds cruel, but CO2 doesn't work very well at all.

i just use a normal ziplock like the others have said. but i see it as the least cruel way. they just go to sleep. a lot better than suffocating them with co2 or gas. and a lot less destructive than thumping them on the head lol.

Along with these two, I've also heard of using ice cube trays for pinkies. I've never tried it (I don't have enough snakes to breed mice), but I've heard these are the best methods for euthanising pinkies.

i dont breed mice. but helped a buddy do this chore and we used tackle boxes or thread boxes. either or. they have tons of slots that keep them seperated and it makes it good before they go into the bag. he keeps them empty in the freezer too so that it doesnt keep them warm for a lil at all. not that it would matter. but its his gig so i didnt say anything. just helped.

I have successfully frozen mouse and rat pinkies in ice cube trays before. It separates them enough so that they don't freeze into one big blob. One they are frozen, then you can easily transfer them to a zip-loc bag.
