what kind of corn do i have

No he will retain that pattern throughout his/her life, he/she may darken with age though. But yes, that's an Amelanistic striped Corn, and no, they're not very common. Lovely snake by the way. :)

depends how old he is, he might get a bit more orange. Amels are very common, usually a by-product of trying for fancier morphs. stripes a little less so but still pretty common. (amel for sure if he has red eyes, it's hard to tell from your pic!)

He is pretty, my friend looked at all the morphs and wants an amel stripe ; )

I agree with TandJ, I also have Kathy and Bill Love's Comprehensive Guide to Corn Snakes and it's really helpful. As he looks like a young snake, you should be feeding him pinkie's (baby mice without fur) every 4 - 5 days. He'll grow to be about 4/6 feet in length if he's provided enough food for optimum growth.

Id say that Corn looks to be an 06 early 07 size. Id say fluffy/fuzzie mice are the way to. It would help if you could tell us how long approx he is.

Those are definitly great books, i reccomend them as well. Here's a copy of the Munson plan to help you out with what size prey you should be feeding.

-When they're on single pinks (2-3g), I feed every 4-5 days. (Snake = 4-15g)
-Double pinks (3g x 2) every 4-5 days. (Snake = 16-23g)
-Small fuzzies (5-7g) every 5-6 days. (Snake = 24-30g)
-Regular fuzzies (7-9g) every 5-6 days (Snake = 30-50g)
-Hoppers (9-12g) every 5-6 days (Snake = 51-90g)
-Weaned (14-20g) every 7 days (Snake = 91-170g)
-Adult (24-30g) every 7-x days (Snake = 170+)
-Jumbo Adults (40-50g) every 7-x days (Snake = 400g+)

I'd say amel stripe too, but I'm new to the guess the morph game.

Kathy and Bill's book is excellent. I learned a lot of useful information from it. Would recomend it to everone just starting out. Lovely snake by the way.
