Hi again!! I've been sent this picture-although not a very good one-of two corns that have been advertised fairly local to me,they are meant to be a male okeetee and female miami, now neither look right to me,can anyone suggest what they may be before i take the journey(about an hour away) to see them.

Yep they look like an Okeetee and a Miami to me. To help you feel a little more at ease I made some very quick modifications to the pic to help compensate for it being over exposed and you can clearly see that they are what they are said to be.

Great stuff, the guy did say that he thought the miami might be a rat x corn but his friend told him it was a miami, thats why i was a bit wary and asked for pics first, then when the pic came its not too hot!

Gina,
Glad it was a help. I could be wrong but I would say it is a Miami. All I did was to work on the exposure. So there was nothing done with the color at all. It is pretty amazing how a pic can change just from a quick 5 minute exposure fix. That is why a never fully trust a pic when I am buying online. It actualy looks like a very nice Miami. I have never seen a rat x corn hybred to have that much silver/gray.

As long as they are pure corn to be honest i'm not too fussed about the morph, thanks again for your help,i have asked the guy if he can get a better pic,if he does send me one i'll post that too and see what everyone thinks.:D

That so-called "miami" does not look like a pure corn to me. It's saddles are too small and too many, in my opinion, to be 100% corn. I would suspect influence from another rat specieis there.

Also, I see no evidence of the other animal being an okeetee, no matter what standards one uses to apply that name. It simply looks like a normal cornsnake to me.

I'd be wary to say the least!

I am very wary and i will check them thoroughly before i make any decisions, are there any signs i should look our for when it comes to crosses.

Ok i bought the females and left the male behind,he was a carolina and i have enough males so didn't see the point in having another, here are the two i bought,i know one is an anery but not sure about the other, although she is beautiful and both are so gentle,i don't care what they are!:D
