I just bout some new hides for osiris but i am thinking about making some nice cool ones for his tank. Was watchin clips on youtube and was really interesting. but was wondering if its safe to use reg house paint on it. Once its dry it should be ok to put in osiris' tank wouldnt it? Figured i would ask the experts first lol

regular latex house paint should be fine, when its totally dry. Most house paints can withstand ridiculously high temps, and have low v.o.c.s. (volatile organic compounds, the stuff that makes it toxic.) I would recommend something with a higher gloss because it'll be easier to clean the poop off :) when I'm not taking care of snakes, I'm in the paint department of Lowe's.
