What paint & silicone is safe for snakes?

Minwax polycrylic. Any paint I'd use I would go over with a couple coats of polycrylic. This is what I am doing for some projects I am working on for my snakes. Aquarium sealant would also be safe.

Any 100% silicone without mold inhibitors is fine. I will need to fully dry and cure before your reptile can be around it. If you can smell it (smells like vinegar) it's not ready yet.

Krylon fusion paints are safe and Minwax Spar Urathane is also safe. Again they need to fully dry and cure before use.

Also glossy paint/clear makes objects slippery and hard to grip, which may or may not pose a problem depending on what you are making :)
