What size of cave & water dish is best?

I was just wondering what size of water dish and cave/hide is best for a 4 foot snake. When I bough my my snake it came with a huge cave and a huge water dish. Im guessing its extra large. and Its way to big. My snake curls up in his hide its only uses a corner of the hide. So i am gonna buy new hide and dish so should I buy med or large?
 
They like to feel cozy, so if there is a lot of extra room in the current hide I would go a size smaller.

For a larger snake I don't think any water dish could be too big, just too deep! Some snakes (not mine) like to curl up in the water, so I would have one big enough for your snake to fit comfortably.

he is all curled up in is hide. and there is wayyyyy to much room left so i wondering if i should et a med or a large. he is 4 feet long.

Just find a hide that just fits your snake Not too tight and not a lot of extra room. There are a lot of different sizes according to the brand, A Large in one might be an Ex Large in another.

Oh really? will that sucks. I was gonna buy it online from amazon. i was gonna get the exo terra but if sizes are different from name brands then i guess i will have to wait till i goes out of town again to the pet store to get one. i was gonna get a med cause the extra large is way to big. so thinking a large will be to big also.

One of my Males is just shy of 4' and he fits in a large Exo Terra just fine.
P.Guttatus had a good idea of piling more substrate in his hide to cozy things up a bit to adjust some.
You might also go to Petsmart and look at their large Exo Terra and compare to what you have now and it doesn't have to fit perfect either.
