What started as a pet...

...ended up being addictive!

I'm Amanda, a novice keeper of corn snakes. Right now I have Xakkima - my oketee - two sunglows and soon, what I hope to be, an ultramel. My plans down the road are to breed, but we'll see what happens.

Other than my new found adoration for the corn, I have two ball pythons. I'm also an avid Final Fantasy fan and free-lance artist.

I look forward to getting to know you all and learning!

Welcome-

I'll leave the massive link posts to those who do it best and just give my personal Welcome!

Hi Requiem,

First of all "Welcome to the Forum"!

There is a lot of very nice people here with a lot of good advice and remember: "there are no stupid questions if you don't know the answers" so if you have a question….
Your question might already have been asked/answered and there is a search option which is very handy. ;)

Also, when I first joined the Forum, I was given two very handy/interesting url (Lennycorn  ) and it is now my turn to pass them on plus a couple that I personally find good:

Here are also some websites which was recommended to me and some that I have myself found interesting and with good advice:

Also, here are some discussions about cohabitation so that you can make your mind up but be prepared as the last one is very graphic:

With regards to books, these are the ones that I heard the most about:
- "Corn Snakes : The Comprehensive Owner's Guide" by Kathy Love
- "The Art of Keeping Snakes" by Philippe De Vosjoli

I have both books and I really enjoyed reading them, they are really good!

We have interesting, educational conversations but we also have fun.

Again, welcome and enjoy the ride!

Vanina
