A few days after i fed my bloodred, i noticed a coloration between the scales on its hind end. At first i thought it might be digested matter showing through (i read that on this forum), be there has been two poops since then and the dark color remains. Does anyone know if this is normal? Is it just the inards showing through? It is just between the scales and doesnt rub off.
The little fella is acting a-okay and doesnt seem to be in any distress.

well my digital cam wont show it. ill try to describe it again. On the rest of its body between the scales the color is the normal color of his skin. But towards the hind end, between the scales there appears to be a blackish color not consistent with the rest of the body. Maybe its been there the whole time but ive never noticed it (i dont think so). Maybe im wondering what this is for no reason? I guess is it possible to see the latter part of the digestive tract through the skin? if so thats probably what it is, if not well then its a mystery.
