BIGDADDYSCORNSNAKES
HI FOLKS,
I 'm in the process of purching 2 sunkissed females and would like to know what you fine folks think i should breed to them? I have several males to choose from
the 1st being a phantom , 2nd a ultramel het blood red ,het anery, 3rd is a caramel het amber het butter , 4 th a snow stripe 5th normal stripe 6th is a motley het amel, and 7th is a charcoal het blood het amel .
These are the last 2 that i have not chose mating partners for. thanks for any and all replies and help . Thanks ,

BIGDADDYSCORNSNAKES,

JOE

I'd breed one to the phantom, to create normals het sunkissed, hypo, charcoal which will give you a good range of morphs in the F2s, and the second one to the snow stripe to give you normals het sunkissed, amel, anery, stripe. The F2s give you a decent shot at a sunkissed stripe, which is really cool looking.

Just so long as you're not expecting visuals from these.

i dont care either way just looking forward to some cool snakes in the future.
but i do like stripes , i was leaning towards the phantom also and i should have some normals with cool hets for later projects .

Sunkissed stripes don't look like stripes. They're... interesting, and very beautiful.

I have normals het for sunkissed phantom that are also possibly het for stripe. here's hoping!

If it were me, I would definately go with the snow stripe.
I saw an anery sunkissed stripe, I think Jeff posted the picture....scarred me for life.
It was so incredibly gorgeous I am obsessed with having one someday.....

I'd pair a het. or hom. stargazer to her first in order to check their stargazer status before I'd use them for a project.

Since my Hypo Sunkissed het Bloodred male from Serpenco is also het Stargazer (afaik the male comes directly from Richs first Sunkissed purchases from Kathy Love), every single Sunkissed which is unproven is indeed poss. het. Stargazer.

I tell you, you really don't want to work for 4 to 6 years on a project just to find out they carry the Stargazer crap... I know from whereof I speak... :(

I agree on this whole heartedly.

I agree with JimGERcream first but once thats out of the way I have to disagree with the phantom. I just dont like the idea of two types of hypo being in the mix. I agree with the snow stripe and if you want to use a second male then the charcoal het blood & Amel would be my second pic.

Well JimGERcream does have a very good point. But if the stargazer issue was settled, I would breed one to the cinder. The F2 would produce cinder sunkissed. That is one of he morphs that I am looking forward to owning. Ok, so my suggestion is a little self serving, but you did ask for our opinions.
