What to do about my new tank?

Hey guys I need some opinions. My cornsnake is deff ready to move up to his new tank. But I dont know what to do exactly. I have 2 viable options I guess. I want a hinged screen on mine for starters, so much easier. I can buy a 20L from petsmart which my screen and security clips are garenteed to fit or for a little cheaper I can buy a used 30L but its got wooden edging and I dont know if a screen lid will fit tight, or if the clips will even secure it down. I guess I could build a screen but then I'll still hafta figure out how to secure it to the actual tank itself. The 30L would give my guy a lot more room thou. My snake has never tried to escape but still, I want to be cautious.

How about either a 20L or 29gallon Critter Keeper? They have a sliding screen top that positively locks in place, and you could even put a small-ish padlock on it to prevent "unwanted hands" in the cage. I have 3 of them...one 10g, one 20L, and one 29gallon, and they are a really nice and efficient enclosure.

Yeah they have them at petsmart here but there like $55 and I dont have that to spend when i can get one for 30 or so.
Well, then...it sounds like the choice is made. The 20long is the minimum recommended size for an adult cornsnake.

I would definately go with the 20L. That way you KNOW the top will fit and you won't have to worry about whether or not your snake will escape. Alot of people say a 20L is enough to keep an adult snake for life. Hope this helps.
