What to do...

Okay, so Calypso is about 2 1/2 months old. I fed her a pinkie mouse yesterday and it barely left a lump in her stomach. I'm sure when I get home today I won't be able to tell at all. When I looked at the fuzzies in the store they looked way too big. But one pinkie is a little too small. It only takes her about 5 mins from the time I give her the mouse to the time it's completely in her stomach. Not sure if I should try to feed her 2 pinkies at a time. I'm really not sure what to do...

Feed one and a half pinks this time, one and a half pinks next time, then two pinks.

I have a couple of pinks that are really small like I fed her when I first got her. They are about half the size of the others. Is it okay if I feed one normal and one pretty small?

Okay. Thanks soo much! I guess she is in that weird in between stage right now. I'm going on vacation from the 15 - 28th and my friend is going to watch her. I don't think she will need to feed her though. I told her no feeding or handling for 7 days (because I have to take her and the tank to her house), and she is due to shed around the 18th while I'm gone and not to feed her when she is shedding. So I told her just to make sure she has clean water. I'll feed her when I get back. But 3 weeks without a feeding should be fine right? Was this the right advice to give?

When I bumped up my male corn, I gave him one pinkie...then one small and one extra small and then went up to two smalls and now he's on peach fuzzies. I also bulk order my mice so it's a little easier to get exact sizes.

If your corn is 2 months old (as your signature says) I would try to offer at least a meal or two while you are gone. Wait about 3-4 days after you drop her off, then have your friend feed her then feed her again in another week. Just make sure she has at least 2 days to digest before you take her back home.
