Hi, i got my first corn snake Candy about a month ago. i wanted to know for sure what kind of corn she is. I have asked before but never got a definite answer ,probably because my pics were a littler blurry). I'm pretty sure it is either a reverse okeetee or an amel corn. Does anyone know? Thx in advance for any answers.

Here are some better pics but still not the best, my camera sucks lol.

Looks like a pretty little amel. I personally don't think her borders are thick enough to call her an RO, but since it is a selectively bred amel and not a morph there are variations and some subjectivity to it.

Its an amelanistic that has some slightly thick borders.. A reverse okeetee is just an amel as well, bred for thicker white borders..

i agree with you. i've looked at some pics online of both amels and okeetees and i found that the amels look more like Candy so i'm gonna say she's an amel. thx.

this is A amel, the lighter colors will grow to be a Hot Orange color and the saddles will be red you might get a little bit of white but not enough to call it a reverse okeetee, in the end as a adult he/she will look something like this. and this cornsnake is in no way a candycane, hope it helps!

DarkMorning, not all amels end up looking like that. Many are quite pale, actually, without being able to be called a candycane. I would say that the OP's snake will end up on the paler side because there isn't much suffusion of color already present in the snake.
