I have been told so many different things :shrugs: i want someone with a straight answer. Got her free at petsmart cause she was "Damaged" She has a small scab on her neck from trying to escape from one of there cages or something, It might scar but thats ok because she is a very much loved pet now!

Thanks!

A Stripe! LOL

Hard to say for sure with those pictures and its size.

First off, it is a STRIPE!

It could a normal stripe, a hypo stripe, an amel stripe het caramel, and there are other options.

See if you can get some close up, clear shots of the eye coloration and maybe a few Macro shots and some in nature light.

Nice looking no matter what it is. As for the scab, it should shed off in time and possibly never seen when it reaches adulthood. Is the scab/sore fairly new? There a few things you can put on it to help it heal and not get infected.

Its hard to see so im not worried about it getting infected i think petsmart just got tired of taking care of it cause she has an attitude, first snake to ever rattle its tale at me. :p

OMG, all snakes can rattle their tails. Especially baby ones! LOL

It might a Motley over a Stripe, but that gene is shared. Dont ask me to explain it but if you want to know the genetic side of Motley vs Stripe vs MotleyStripe.

Pretty lil one none the less! Good PetCo pickup!

It might be a bit before i get an eye pic cause she was never handled at the pet store and just goes and goes when i have her out of the cage.

Well shes a striped motley. Genetically a motley. Not a genetic stripe. And she looks hypo to moi. But could be a normal. The motley gene has a hypo effect sometimes.

After looking on the internet i believe my snake is a jungle corn, Didnt think i would get a snake like that from the pet store but you never know what surprises you will get.

It definitely doesn't look like a jungle corn. If anything it would be mixed with an emoryi rat but it appears to be a pure corn in my opinion. It looks to be a hypo motley stripe and is very pretty. Congrats on getting her and for free that's even better.

Also just something I think you should consider is switching it to frozen thawed mice instead of live. Frozen thawed has a lot of benefits and will keep it from getting bit by it's food. Look it up in the search function there is a lot of info on it.

Well she looks a lot different then all the young corns i have mostly the head and i found a pic that looks exactly like her too.

Just so everyone knows the snake did not get injured when i had it, or from live food for that matter. :headbang:

It tried to escape at the pet store and got stuck on the background they had taped in the tank. She eats f/t.

I wasn't blaming you for the injury just so you know, it just looks like in the picture that the mouse is live that is why I suggested reading up on it, but if she is already on f/t then that's great. Good luck with her.

Yeah it may not be a live animal bite scar...but if you keep feeding live then she will have bite scars soon. I would also recommend switching to frozen/thawed. Corns take them very well.
Normal Motley (striped form) is my opinion as well.

What do you think is unusual about her head? From what I can see (the last photo shows her the best of those you posted), she looks like a very typical striped motley corn snake, one that is a bit older, maybe a late '08 or early '09 due to her color. Her head especially looks very typical corn snake.
