I'm not new to cornsnakes, but sometimes I don't understand the outcome of certain breedings. So this year I played. I bred my male lav het hypo ( from stephen) to my patternless snow female ( from HOF herps) and to a coral snow female, het hypo, homo amel and anery. ( from VinRusso) Does anyone know what I might expect?
Thanks for looking and anyone that wants to take a crack at this
Dan

Assuming no unknown hets:

Lav het hypo X Snow = Normals het lav, anery, amel, 50% poss het hypo

Lav het hypo X snow het hypo = Hypos het lav, anery, amel and Normals het lav, anery, amel 66% poss het hypo

The term 'Snow' denotes a cornsnake who is homozygous for anerythrism type A and amelanism. Coral is just a type of snow, referring to high pink/peach coloration.

I'm unsure what the 'patternless' snow is. There are patternless stripes... Or it could be 'diffused' snow instead. Or perhaps you have a blizzard, in which case there's no Anery A involved at all. But I've not heard of any morph being labeled as a 'patternless snow'.

the patternless snow came from HOF herps, he "perfected" them from a vanishing stripe snow. She has no pattern, belly or back. He also has anery and albino patternless. I was wondering what I would come up with. I intend to keep the entire clutch, and breed them back.
Thank you

I just my copy of cornsnakes morphs guide 2006. made easy? haha. I'll have to read it several times. Who knows, even a 'dummy" like me might be able to understand genetis someday?

Just to let you know Dan, Coral snow refers to an animal that is homozygous for anery, amel and hypo. If your snake is homo anery and amel but only het for hypo then it is a snow het hypo. The hypo in het sometimes affects the look of the snake so that may account for your snakes extra colour.
