When can I hold my new baby snake?

So yeah. I got a new corn snake today. He's about a month old.
I was just wondering how long until I can hold him.
People have told me 2 days and some people have told me two weeks.
I've been searching around and I can't really find an answer, so what do you guys think?

He's been hiding most of the time.
In his little hide and under the aspen.
He's mostly in the warm side so I don't know if that means anything. It's about 83-86 degrees on the glass where the uth is, It keeps changing every once in a while.
He was sitting out for like, 2 hours though, but when I turned off all the lights he went and hid again.

So.. yeah. When can I hold him? I want to so bad, lol.
I was thinking like, wait a week maybe, then take him out to feed him and then wait like two more days to actually get him out and hold him.
Does that sound good? too long? to short?

I'm just confused in this area, lol.

hi, definitely wait 48hours after feeding to handle him, so he doesn't regurge.

I have always read to wait one week after moving them in, this allows them to calm down and settle in.

i just brought home my 2nd corn today, I held him for 2 minutes to take pictures and show the kids, then I put him away. I will be transferring him to a larger (7qt) sterilite box tomorrow then leave him alone for a few days.

him hiding is perfectly normal, my first one took about 3 weeks before she started poking her head out from under the substrate.

You can safely turn it down slightly. You want to aim for about 82, but as long as it's between 80-85, you're good.

That is a good minimum. It's best if you wait until he has at least 2 meals into him, maybe even more. In any case, just keep the handling to a minimum for the first little while.
