When can I put my male and female back together

My sons amel female laid her first clutch of eggs on 09/05.

After laying I have moved her into a seperate Viv for her to recoup and put some weight on. As this is her first breeding I do not want her to lay again this season but I would like to return her back to my main viv with her mate.

How long should I wait before returning her?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks Lenny

It seems that I may have reieved some bad advice when I got the 2nd corn. Something along the lines of "they will be fine together".

should have done a bit more research but as the person had a whole host of different snakes I was fooled into thinking they knew what they were talking about.

I have only been using this or any other site since they breed.

Lesson for us all always check for a 2nd opinion.

Thanks again Lenny

Yes, since it's a male and female. They will breed and breed and breed again. Imagine if you had to pump out babies one right after the other all your life with no break.

I'm glad you are smart and willing to take advice. So many other do not...
