When do I feed new guy?

Generally, 5-7 days of adjustment are suggested before offering food. The longer the better. I typically wait 5 days. Others would suggest waiting 7, especially if it is a hatchling. If it is older and established you might be able to get away with less time, but better safe than sorry if you can possibly wait. I know it can be tough!

I don't personally have experience with older snakes, but (from all I have read and understand) they typically do not stress as easily and are, of course, more than likely well established eaters. Still it couldn't hurt to wait at least 5 days.

Do you know when he last ate?
Most folks feed their adults every 7 to 10 days. If you are not sure when he last ate, I'd wait 5 to 7 days and feed a smaller than usual mouse - then get him on a regular feeding schedule.
