I have an alibno corn he is about a year and six months. i have been told in order to breed him the female has to be about the same size as him. before i go and buy one can someone tell me if it really matters what size? If anyone has a pic of their corn that is approx. a year old. thanks

I completely disagree with what you have been told. You male can be a lot smaller than your female and still achieve a successful breeding. You actually should be more concerned to get a larger female than one that is a year to 18 months old. If females breed when they are too young and too small it puts extreme stress on their bodies and they may have problems laying the eggs. Much better to choose a larger, older female that is able to cope with the demands of egg production and laying. Look for a female that is at least 3 ft. long, and over 300g.
