Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

When does.........................

probably after you have owned quite a few cornsnakes for quite a few years and read quite a few books while talking/learning from quite a few people...........

it's a time consuming ordeal and proper knowledge is the only way to begin. remember, there is a life (or 20) at stake.

I would suggest getting some good books on corn snakes and start to do the research. You should also get a basic understanding of genetics before you start. Also, do you know what you'll do with 20 babies if they hatch. Not everyone wants to buy snakes and they can sometimes be hard to place in good homes. If you can't find homes for them, are you ready to house and feed that many extra snakes?

Lots of things to think about, but I'd start doing a lot of reading now and find out as much as you can before making any decisions.

The best book to read when you're starting out (or if you've done if for years) is Kathy Love's book. It will go over the basics and it goes through morphs. www.cornutopia.com will take you to her website and you can get the book there.
