Basically as the title says, should I be giving Frost 2 pinkies in 1 feeding? He is 20 g and ~20" long. Right now he gets 1 pinky every 5 days.
Also, I have had him for about 5 weeks now and he has yet to shed. How often do they shed?

Shedding depends on the snake. As far as 2 pinkies i think its time to move to 2 when, there to small for a fuzzy and there is no lump in the belly after 12-24 hours.
 
Frost should be fed double pinkies. I would at least. Try feeding 2 pinks 5 minutes apart every 7 days. ^^ Good luck!
 
He should be ready for two pinks. Start with smaller pinks, though. Babies shed about every four weeks so you can expect him to go blue any day. You will know because he will stay in hiding all the time.

He may be a little late for shedding perhaps because he may be not growing as fast because he's a tad bit underfed? Hmm, I wouldn't worry about it, like people, all snakes are different when it comes to growing!

If my little snake seems to only eat when left alone, how do I feed double pinks when it comes time to do so? Can you just leave two out? Should I be getting her used to the idea of taking food from a tweezers while she's out and about? She's still so new I think she'd just run and hide :p
 
I usually start feeding double pinks between 16-18 grams, & then move up to fuzzies about 32 grams.

Jenna, you can leave both pinks in with her & leave her alone to eat. Some of mine won't eat until I leave the room.
 
Thanks nwheather! A few things I had read made it sound like you had to give them the second pinky only after they'd swallowed the first. Glad to hear I can just leave two in with her. Is hand-feeding mostly just used for snakes that need some "extra stimulation"? Just a personal preference?
