I got a cornsnake about two weeks ago - my first snake. My question is, where is it best to keep the cage? Would a quieter area that's frequented less often be ideal for the snake? Right now the cage is in the living room where I spend most of my time, passing by the cage often, making noises, etc.

your snake would probably be best in your bedroom. the noises and frequent movement outside the cage probably stress him out at least a little
