Which morph is the pinkest?

Just curious here, but which corn snake morph has the pinkest (in terms of saturation) color? I've been looking at morphs online and I keep coming across things like "coral snow", "salmon snow", "bubblegum", "neon coral", etc. I'm really new to the corn snake world and haven't quite grasped what all the morph names mean yet. Just curious, I think I'd like to get a cute, pink colored corn one day way in the future.

Yup, Corals have a pink tint to them for sure. No Two Snakes are the same though and colors can vary.

Give it time though. I'm sure in the very near future, some breeder somewhere will come up with a Fluorescent Hot Pink Corn snake that will be all the rage.

As far as I'm aware, some of the pinkest corns are produced by PoppyCorns. I'm not sure if she's still breeding, but she makes extremely pink corns of various morphs. I'm not sure which morph would be considered the pinkest, since the quality of a single morph can vary so much.

My champagne corn is the pinkest corn I've personally seen when it comes to saturation.
My male leucistic pine snake is a beautiful solid pink (I know not a corn but I had to mention him)
Got a bubblegum rat snake that's pretty pink too (again not a corn :) )

Any pink corn is generally some light colored morph with a reddening gene tacked on, usually some kind of red factor. It's theorized that there are a few different RF genes that act similarly (or even near identically) but it's very difficult to prove and breeders in the recent past spent more time churning out pretty snakes than investigating their genetic makeup. Thus you will occasionally see terms like coral and salmon thrown about by some folks with no real knowledge of what they actually have, one reason I still only have one red factor animal from a known line with known heritability.

Also Marsha Matthews of Poppycorns apparently went too far in breeding the pinkest salmon snows, ending up with an almost orange animal instead of magenta. Developing a truly pink salmon is on my project list.

So much information here everyone, thanks! Some what I'm understanding so far is that names are somewhat arbitrary in this case because the genetics involved have yet to be investigated. Is that right? If that's the case would looking at parentage be the best way to get an idea about how pink a baby corn might get?

Yes, looking at the parents would help with picking a pink baby. Males also tend to be pinker than females in some of the morphs.

Well that works out perfectly. I just got a female Miami last weekend and I'd like to get a pink male next, though that probably won't be for a year or two.

One great site to start learning about morphs is iansvivarium.com

Its also fun just looking at all of the pics demonstrating variation within morphs - and the cornsnakes are of course all adorable!
