Help, I'm in a predicament. What would you feed my snake if you were me?

I breed my own pinkies and these are the only sizes I have at the moment. I've been giving her two small pinkies but I have given her one of the bigger ones before.

What would you do? I don't have a digital scale and nor do I know where to get one, but today is feeding day!
 
I don't know what advice to give as far as what pinkie but I got my digital scale in the Wal - Mart Kitchen section. A lot of people on here use the Munson feeding plan (below) but also a good rule of thumb is offering a rodent that is 1 to 1.5 times the diameter of the thickest part of the corn's body.

Munson Feeding Plan
-When they're on single pinks (2-3g), I feed every 5-6 days. (Snake = 4-15g)
-Double pinks (3g x 2) every 5-6 days. (Snake = 16-23g)
-Small fuzzies (5-7g) every 6-7 days. (Snake = 24-30g)
-Regular fuzzies (7-9g) every 6-7 days (Snake = 30-50g)
-Hoppers (9-12g) every 6-7 days (Snake = 51-90g)
-Weaned (14-20g) every 7 days (Snake = 91-170g)
-Adult (20-30g) every 7-x days (Snake = 170+) See below.

Note: Adult females are fed more frequently than adult males (especially following brumation). Adult females are fed every 7-12 days; adult males are fed every 11-14 days.
 
I second what giraffe said if no scale then approx rodent thickness should be 1.5 times the thickness of your snake and as for the scale try Walmart. Good Luck. Cute Snake.

well here's the other problem. she's a half inch tall at her widest and only 3/8ths of an inch wide on the bottom. so which do I go by? :blowhead: :cry: :laugh:
 
My snake is roughly the same size as yours and the pinkies I get are about that size and he gulps them down no problem.
 
well there's a huge difference between those two pinkies and I've got a couple of both of them. Should I do one that's slightly larger or two small?

Oh and, we don't have a walmart here. :bird:

edit: oh yea I guess my dad and I are going to make a trip there this week for some fishing reels so I'll get one then. I think for today I'll just give her two of the smaller ones.

Oh, didn't see the ones in the bag. Just the one next to the quarter.
 
Snake is about the size of one of my sons, Should be able to do either on but I personally feel better giving it two like the smaller one.
 
For now until you get a scale and can weigh your snake ... I too would go with 2 of the smaller ones.
