Okay, this is a hypo? that has white irises. Has anyone ever seeen this before? In 30 ish years I have not. They are usually white, but sometimes resemble a human albinos eye color, with very light blue lines coming in from the outer edge.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Mark

Any way of showing us a larger image, plus one of her whole body (just because)? My eyes are so bad that I couldn't be sure what color her irises are at this stage.

this is the best one I have right now that shows body markings? I recently adopted him. No intentions of breeding, just amazed when I saw his eyes. He did sire a few clutches this year for the person I got him from, none of the babies exhibited this eye color as hatchlings? I was just curious?

he is nearly 6' so getting pics is not easy. Though, he is a gentle snake. He just goes everywhere, lol. Took mice like he was sipping tea, gentle as could be.

what? those eyes show no signs of BLUE for shed? and it must be your monitor.

Act like I'm a 9 year old that just brought a snake home in my pocket.

I'm not trying to pass of something that is nothing, I was just curious. Albino iguanas, cause I did what I do....first ever albino cobra, me too. Not to mention the first successful breeding of cheetahs in north america(tiger island san diego).

The iris is unusually light, but it's not entirely unheard of. As the polar opposite example, Carol has a ghost whose iris is red!

The eyes are light, but they look more light tan than white and blue, which I wouldn't consider too unusual in a hypo. The dullness of his body does indicate that he is in blue and going to shed.

They do not look white to me. However, I have seen that color, before, and, although it may not be typical, it is not something unheard of.

The eye looks golden or straw colored to me. And the snake looks like he is in shed- going by his dull coloration in general, not his spectacle.
