White Oak Cornsnake?

Is it known whether the White Oak phase of Elaphe obsoleta spiloides is a hypomelanistic-like trait? And if so, whether this is compatible with one of the several possible currently-known hypo genes in Egg?

These have been described in Hypo corns:
The effects of the melanin dropout in the saddles causing a 'snowed' or 'frosted' band centrally in the saddles... And the dropout of (thinned) black ring outlining the saddles.

I am looking at my (new) White Oak phase Eos... And I beleive I am seeing the same dropout patterns, which I have seen on several hypo corns.
