white puffy fluffy stuff on my dirt

my snakes' setup has running water, and is fairly humid.
the first problem i've run in to is a mold / fungus.. its a small white tuft spikey, feathery, almost like those white dandelions, but much finer.
its right on the 'shore' of the water.
any idea what exactly it is, is it bad for the snake, how to get rid of it (prevent it from recurring).

thanks for any suggestions

Sounds like mould spores. You get that in a humid environment with low airflow. I fuggest more ventilation and scrap the running water, no matter how pretty it looks it'll make the environment too humid for corns and leave them open to infection/irritation.

Oh! Looks like your post is infected by FFFungus too!
I fink... Nooo mine too!!

Ad rem : too much humidity will support fungus growth and can be bad for snake - respiratory problems.
