Who knows their mites?

Having a little problem,

My 2 y/o ghost hasn't eaten in almost a month. My friend keeps telling me it's mites. I took a few picture of things I'm not sure if I remember seeing on "Apollo" when we got him, but like I said, I don't remember...I haven't been able to see any dark spots moving, though he has hundreds of dark spots on him that I'm ruling to be freckles...

Anyway, it would be great if someone could give me some detection tips and whatnot...He doesn't try to soak himself and drown them (if they exist) and I think his lack of eating might be due to my supply getting freezer burnt, so I'll have to get more feeders...

Either way, I would really like to figure out if my snake has mites. I don't want my BP to get them.

Thanks.

Dustin

If you're worried about mites, soak him yourself. Just get a tub of water, clear tupperware is good, and put him in. He wont like it at first, but if you see any little black spots sink to the bottom, those would be mites.
