Who remembers "sneaky snake"?

I don't know why this popped into my head last night~ but it did and know it's driving me nuts. I very vaguelly recall once when I was a little girl sitting on our front porch and listening to a song on the radio~ something about a "sneaky snake" and a rootbeer? It must have been a Country Western station as that's all my parents ever listened too~

Anyone have any clue what the actual title of the song was?

Thank you very much! It was driving me nuts! LOL~
BTW~ very cute pic of your cuffed up boy in the other thread!

My husband named our rootbeer corn "Sneaky Snake" because he grew up wth that song. I'd never heard it until we met.

That song pops into my head every once in a while.

Did any of you learn the song "Green and Yeller" when you were a kid?

What are you eating
Henry my son?
What are you eating
my pretty one?

Eels, dear Mother
Eels, dear Mother
Oh Mother come quick
'Cause I feel very sick
And I want to lay down and die.

What color were those eels
Henry my son?

Green and yeller
Green and yeller...

Those eels were snakes I fear
Henry my son!

Ooooh, dear Mother
Ooooh, dear Mother!

You can find music easy

JM - I will let you in on a little secret. There is a search engine site called alltheweb.com on the search page you will see the tap audio, if you click that and type in the name of a song, artist etc, you can track down just about any music you want.

Shhhhhhh..... Don't let the secret get out, I don't want people hogging all the music, lol.
