I picked up a copy of "Going Overboard" from the pawn shop. Anyone over hear of it? No? Well, that's okay. I'll give you a summery. This movie was produced the year I was born - 1989. It has Adam Sandler in it and I think it is his first feature. He looks about 16, possibly not even hitting puberty. Hard to tell. It has no plot except for he is a guy who is a waiter on a ship and wants to be a comedian. There's something about a beauty pageant and other stuff. Lots of other random stuff.

At the moment, it is in the top 60 of IMDb's Worst Films Ever. I managed to make it through the entire movie, somehow. I think the fact that I ended up reading reviews on it helped. I will admit, I did chuckle a time or two. I must be really tired.

Has anyone ever seen this movie? Was it even in theaters? If so, did you walk out of it? What do you think is the worst movie of all time?
 
i have heard of it but never seen it..... your really young for being born in 89 i was born in 91

OMD! Absolutely ancient! My youngest son was born in '89. I must be older than dirt :). LOL!:laugh:

As for the original question, no, I've never seen nor heard of it. Probably just as well, as I don't like Adam Sandler! And considering the dearth of REALLY bad movies out there, to get yourself on the 60 Worst Movies of All Time list is quite the impressive accomplishment!
 
Lol. All age aside, Adam Sandler has some decent movies. My favorite is The Wedding Singer and for some reason Eight Crazy Nights. This movie though, it's like a movie a person would probably enjoy if they were high... and drunk... and hadn't slept in six days... Seeing as I've never been high though, I can't say for sure.

1991 though... I was 2. I think I got my first wheeled bike around then. I remember my first bike. I walked it down the sidewalk and introduced it to everything. Wow... did I just admit that? 0_o
 
LOL. Never seen "Going Overboard", but some of Adam's other movies REALLY make me laugh. Mr. Deeds and The Waterboy are a couple of my favorite Sandler films.
