• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Why do I keep getting "logged out"?

Hi, Rich. Is this site somehow set to log a person off if they've walked away from their computer for a while? This has happened to me several times in the past couple of weeks. It also just happened when I took about 45 minutes to compose a reply to a thread. I was logged in when I first started typing, but by the time I hit Submit Reply about 45 minutes later, I got an error message saying I wasn't logged in.

Not that I am aware of. I have an open window all day long for each of my sites and I never get logged out. Perhaps it is a security setting in your browser?

just an idea

Check that you IE is set to at least have a small cache, or every time you go to a new page it will completely forget the last one. Mines set to 50000kb
Mozilla is Tools-Options-Privacy-Cache-then the space you set, IE will be pretty much the same.
