the pet store fed him fine and I put him in his hatchling cage and he hasn't even touched it hes just trying to escape from his feeding cage

I saw your other post. It showed the shed skin from your snake. Some snakes will not eat when they are getting ready to shed.

In 3-4 days offer your snake a pink mouse again. This time leave him in his feeding container alone with the pink for several hours. Make sure the lid is secure so he can't get out. Maybe put the feeding container into his viv if it will fit. Then leave him alone for a while. No peeking.

Hope this helps! Keep us updated.

unless corns don't eat after shedding I don't see why he wouldn't be eating

How long have you had him for? And how big was the container you put him in? What time of day did you try it?

Mali shed yesterday and since she hadn't eaten Friday (which would have beena week since her last feeding) I offered her another meal and she took it gladly. She's doing fine today since feeding as well.

Is it bad to feed directly after shedding? :shrugs:

i have a few hatchlings and most are eating fine but a couple are not so keen so I put them in there tub with nothing else in put the snake and the pinkie and leave them alone in the dark and they usually then eat it, try not to disturb him as well.

he hasn't aten his pinkie so I froze the little guy(he was live) after handling him for 20 mins lol but I'm going to try lizard scent tills hes a adult or adolencent depends when he will eat unscented

How long have you had your hatchling for? If you've only had him a couple days, you should give him a week or so to settle in. Meaning no handling and just change the water. You don't want to stress him in his new environment, do you?

Oh! Also he might not be terribly interested in feeding live. Before you try scenting, try a thawed pinkie (probably not the guy you just froze to death, in case of like... bad things like uber germs).

Now thats a familiar face!
If he's not eating, have you tried F/T Pinks? Or scenting with Chicken sometimes helps.
