Why move Mom from eggs~~~~:~

PSYCOSNAKEMOM

~~~~~~~:~ Newbies Rule?
I was wondering why everyone moved the mom or the eggs from each other so quickly? Spencer's Cornelius had 17 eggs and she didn't want to be moved, the temps and humidity were right on so I said he could leave them in the nesting box for the day. It was a "struggle" she didn't want ot go, but he took her out the next day set up the eggs and she ate a small mouse quickly and is now back to "normal" That was two weeks ago and everything seems OK, the eggs are a little on the small side this was her first clutch. Thanks Sam~~~~~~~:~
I leave the eggs until she is done laying. I don't like to bother them while they are laying:) After she is all done I remove the eggs and set them up in the incubation box and leave the female in the nesting box. I don't remove the nesting box till she comes out (usually after her shed). I don't know if that is too quick or not but it seems to work ok for me:D
Did you brumate your corns? Did you do anything to entice them to breed other than just leave a male and female in one cage? For how long?
Thanks! Just for my own knowledge!
Limited experience but~~~~~:~
No brumation here but they are all 01s. Not housed with any of the males of course. put them together in their sun house with only one of those carpets for reps on the bottom. They were done in about an hour. took about 30 minutes or less to make contact. Could clearly see the sperm plug after. Sam ~~~~~:~
