wildlifephotographer

Corn snakes rule!
Here is an updated photo shoot of all the corns I have including two newest members not yet in my care. They are Ultramel Tessera's that I am receiving from Steve Roylance. As I am listing them they should be in that order...I am hoping that is how it will be posted!!

!. Diamond- 7 yrs old - and the most sweetest corn I've ever come across. She is what started my addiction to these fascinating reptiles! I love her more then anything else.

Bindi-Amel

Here is Bindi my oldest male corn snake -4yrs old. He's my short and stubby boy but he's very precious to me.. and he is currently driving me nuts with his trying to escape his enclosure along with my other big boy Kasper. They both are going girl crazy and can smell my females below their tubs in the rack system. I'm always having to catch them in the act of getting their noses out and part of their bodies.... lucky for me they haven't gotten completely out yet!!

Kasper-My Stud boy- SQG

Kasper is my big boy and he likes the girls!! He's the one that has fathered most if not all the babies that I have produced in the past. I have 5 of his babies ... Ivan and Mercury are my very first babies I got from him and Rose. Shadow is my female anery baby that I got from Zoe and Kasper and Charisma and Zippy are from Diamond and Kasper. I had one of Bindi's and Zoe's babies Zeus but he escaped his enclosure last October and I never found him- he was a hypo male that had a nice pattern.

Here is my impressive over 900 gram male SQG Kasper-

Oh, yeah Kasper isn't even 4yrs old yet- he was hatched probably in July of 2009. I got him August 30, 2009 from the Indy Reptile show. I can't remember who I got him from.

Here are the babies that I got from my Adults! Ivan and Mercury. Ivan is my Snow that I got from Rose and Kasper's first clutch in July 2011 and Mercury is my female hypo that I also got from Rose and Kasper. They are both very sweet corns and my nephew has a nickname for Ivan -it's Pinky!

Then it's Shadow who is my Anery female that came from Zoe and Kasper. She hatched on March 15, 2012. She's a beautiful Anery !

Charisma is a female ghost and Zippy is my Anery male that are Diamond's and Kaspers babies from May 29, 2012. These two are gorgeous, and they both have a small amount of zig zag pattern.

:)

Babies that I've bought and added to my collection of growing family members!

1. Candy-female Amel was a gift from Noah and his mom Cris. Parents Snow female and Amel male. She is so brightly red! I love her!

2. Cane- is another gift that I received from Noah and his mom. They had ordered some and got a couple of extra's in the deal. I'm a very lucky girl to have such awesome friends! Cane is a reverse okeetee and he's gorgeous!

3. Libra- She is a very nice looking female motley that I got last August from Mostly Reptiles at the Indy Reptile show and this year I got 29 eggs from her. I bred her to Kasper. However, I do not know that she has any hets. These babies will be surprises!! :) They are due to hatch around April 15, 2013.

4. Xena - is one of my first Abbott Okeettees that I got from Brandon Osborne I believe. Xena is absolutely gorgeous and so is her brother Hercules. I love the bright orange and dark thick black borders!!

5. Hercules- is my male Abbott Okeettee he is breathtakingly awesome! I can not wait to see these two as adults. They are amazing!

Great pics of beautiful snakes; really neat to see pics of snakes and their offspring too

More of my babies that I got!

6. Amber- my female Amber Stripe that I got from Doc Snakes. I also had gotten a couple of butter stripes but one of them died and the other escaped all within the same week! Amber is the only snake I have left from Doc! She's very sweet and calm and has a very healthy appetite. She's also very pretty!

7. Constance- my female Butter Motley- she's very hyper acting for a corn but she's amazingly yellow and I love her motley pattern. I have yet to tame her down - she's always all over the place when I get her out! I got her from www.arizonareptile.com . I love her but she's a crazy girl!

8. Jupiter- my Snow Motley boy- he's also not as calm as all my other corns are. He's a very handsome boy though and I wouldn't trade him for anyone! My friend Cris and her son went to Tinley last October and picked him up for me from BHB Reptiles.

9 and 10 are my newest additions which are going to be here this Tuesday 3/12/13- Ultramel Tessera babies!! Super excited about getting these two and can't wait to see them in person! Thanks to Steve Roylance for these babies they are going to be so amazing!!

Thanks Chris68! It's fun to keep the babies you get from your very first girls and boys who you bring up from hatchlings and then watch their children grow up as well!

Also, I have a yearling okeetee female named Sahara- she was given to me by Ron Rice who lives in columbus, In on November 10, 2012. She is a very gorgeous okeetee and has a awesome feeding response! She is very slender and long!

Bell and Maverick

Here are my two newest babies that I just got today 3/12/2013. They are so amazing and much more beautiful in person! Just thought I would add some more photos of these two.

Bell and Maverick. Bell is the one with the clean unbroken stripe in the middle and Maverick is the one that has speckles on his stripe. I love them both!

I loved your photos. I am interested in your rack system. Do you have photos of it somewhere? Are you able to heat it from underneath?

/

Myca, my rack system I had built specifically by Ron Rice who lives in Columbus, In and he was actually suppose to build me three units/racks but could only do two because he got kicked out of his house/lost his house due to late payments... and so couldn't build the 3rd one for me. But he got me two finished and I am pretty happy with them. There are a couple of things that I don't care for. One, is that you can't heat from underneath. I use the heat watt tape 11 inch that runs all the way down from top to bottom. The very first tub all the way down to about the 6th one stays heated pretty good but when you have an attic as a bedroom and the temps fluctuate a lot it's hard to keep the bottom two or so tubs warm like the rest of them. It's 8 high on both units and I use 41 qt tubs , not the really long narrow 41 qts but the shorter in length and wider in width. I'll post some pics up here in a few.
