oh thanks, have you a pic from the possible cara ice?
OK, for you.
I actually have a similar project to yours going, with a little different genes involved, but able to produced Topaz Bloodreds, which was my goal and perhaps yours. I ended up with Project Corns that were het for six different genes.
Here are some interesting 2010 hold back morphs from two females from a Het Lava Caramel Anery Lavender Bloodred Strawberry X Same breeding.
The Corn I was thinking about is the light “Ghost” like morph in the bunch. I think she is a Caramel Ice, but I haven’t identified the two light colored morphs in the photo. The “Caramel Ice”, actually doesn’t have any pink or yellow, so I was mistaken about the yellow. I guess that is what Carmel Anerys look like and we should expect in Caramel Ice, or would it be Ice Caramels?
This Project was started by a breeding loan with Rich H. He bred a Caramel Bloodred to my Lava het Anery female, so I could start a Topaz Bloodred Project. Last year many hidden genes were revealed. I contacted Rich and the Caramel Bloodred he used was from his “Mystery Line”, and was a Caramel Bloodred het “Hypo” Lavender. I think the Hypo I got in the mix is Strawberry instead of Hypo which may be some of the confusion with the Mystery Line.
I think the “variation” that we are seeing between our clutches is the on/off presents of Redcoat. Normal common Morphs from our gene pool do not normally carry Redcoat. The Lava line is one of the lines we can find Redcoat in and really makes a Lava stand out including the combos with Lava. They are all brighter and shinier.
Possible morphs in the photo included Redcoat Lava Bloodred, Topaz het Bloodred, Strawberry, Strawberry Lavender, Ice Caramel het Bloodred, and Strawberry Caramel Lavender, all females. The last two are just guesses.
