Winter heating

We live in NJ and the winters get pretty cold. We travel for the holidays so will be gone for about a week a couple times thru the winter. The heat in the house will be set very low (about 58-60) during the times we are gone. I have UTH with thermostat but should I add a light on a timer to keep ambient temperatures up while I am gone?

As long as there are hides in the warm end and the UTH & stat do their jobs, I'd leave it at that. Corns need heat where they are - on the floor, inside their tank - and the UTH will provide this. Ambient heat is irrelevant as far as I can see - no point heating the air where the snakes aren't going to be. Might mean that your UTH is on for longer than if you were at home, but it's cheaper than turning the home heating up.

I was thinking the same since the temps in her warm hide would still be up in the 80s. Just wanted to make sure so I didnt freeze her while I was gone. Thanks.
