Wondering about bubblegums

I've had my snow for about three months now. I noticed right away that she had a green/white checkered belly. With each shed I've seen more and more yellow on her sides. Now with this last shed a few days ago, she's getting a ton of green! As she was a Petco purchase, I know nothing about her bloodline. So now I'm wondering if she's a bubblegum? I've done a search on bubblegums and she doesn't really look like the ones in the pictures. Do bubblegums start out looking like normal corns and progress as she's doing or are they born with the green color to them? I've also heard mentioned 'pink and green' snows. Are these the same or something completely different?

I'm in no way an expert, but from checking out the entry for Bubblegums at Ian's Vivarium it appears as if Bubblegum is just another name for snows that are selectively bred for the green color, and they may not have any green showing as a hatchling.

You may very well have bought your corn as a normal snow, but ended up with so much better.

I think I read in one of my corn books that there are two different lines of snows refered to as bubblegum, both selectively bred. One is the pink and green. As another poster said, you probably just got lucky. Congrats!
