My corn shed his/her skin. It came off in one piece...But right before he/she pooped her entire "supply" out...

Really nasty but my corn seems to be happier, with her new shiny colours. I just noticed it has some zig-zag and motley traits...beautiful:)

How about you people? Anyone noticed some new things when their corns just shed??

Absolutely, the colours on my snakes get brighter and brighter with every shed. It is so exciting isn't it?

A friend of mine described a shed this way:
"Presto! Brand new shiny snake!"

LOL that's what my fiancee says too! He's always pointing out 'new patterns that have suddenly appeared' every time Pretzel sheds. Pretzel (adult normal) always has the most striking before/after shed colours. As soon as he has shed he looks like a hypo (v bright, you can hardly tell the diff between saddles and background) then he gradually looks more and more like a 'normal' until he's ready to shed again. His borders also 'seem' to change in width which made me think he was an Okeetee for a while (or look like an Okeetee for you locale people ;) ). Noodle, the amel, only seems to get a bit brighter and Sid the reverse motley seems to get lighter with more defined patterns each time.

Shedding beautiful hey!

Mine looks like a miami when shed and then goes a bit oranger till he sheds, but hes never quite 'normal' though.

:D

LOL, I know! She got the name for 2 reasons, 1 because she was so small and 'noodle' like when she was a hatchling (the others all seemed to be a bit bigger as hatchlings) and because of her stripes (shes and amel stripe) looked like little noodles running along her body!
