Work related rant

There are days...

For months there has been subsurface resentments over who got how much raise. Now this has culminated in somebody announcing they are leaving in January, which leads to rearranging the schedule, which is leading to more resentments. Meanwhile other people are yelling at one another for reasons I can't determine let alone understand, right where patients could hear it (fortunately there were none around during today's explosion).

Healthcare is tough enough without all of this simmering ~stuff~ going on. I work 70+ hours a week as it is. I plow thru all kinds of paperwork because I can't delegate it because people whine & complain if I do.

I am just about up to here.:flames:

So I am complaining here because I need somewhere to complain. Feel free to ignore it if you wish

So you're in a management position within the healthcare field? You have my most sincere condolences. ((((Hugs))))

Actually I'm a "provider", which means I do patient care. I also push paper (tons of it) and try to keep the employees from erupting into blood feuds. I guess that means I'm in management, huh?

Please rant all you want! You definitely deserve some sympathy! I know how it is to have people you work (school, in my case) with that do as little as possible yet expect just as much credit as the people who do it all! :[

And 70+ hours a week... bless your heart! I just don't know if I could handle that, on top of having to deal with whiney drama. I hope things turn over for the better soon and just try and stay above it all.
